IF YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING OF  A LAW SOCIETY OF A CANADIAN PROVINCE YOU CANNOT PURCHASE A LAW PRACTICE IN CANADA

 

 A buyer must be a legally qualified Canadian lawyer in order to be legally eligible to purchase a practice.  You must be a member of the the Law Society of the Province of sale or eligible for membership in said Law Society prior to purchase.

NORTH TORONTO SOLICITOR'S PRACTICE - THORNHILL

 

Long This established practice is primarily Real Estate and Wills/Estates, with a small amount of Corporate/Commercial.

 

The practice boasts great premises, long-term staff and repeat clientele. There is excellent expansion potential in all areas of practice.  

 

The seller is prepared to provide an extensive transition period to ensure maximum client retention.

 

The buyer should have at least 7-8 years' experience in the requisite areas of practice.

 

 

 

ELGIN COUNTY ONTARIO – SOLICITOR'S PRACTICE

Clientele are primarily high income individuals and come to the practice through referrals, word of mouth and a website with excellent SEO.

 

The practice can easily support a second and third lawyer. At present litigation and other files are referred out so if the buyer keeps those files there will be an immediate increase in work.

The Wills Bank exceed 700 and estate administration is a growth area.  Clientele are repeat and word-of-mouth referrals - the Seller does not findit necessary to advertise and turns away all contested Family Law matters.

 

The premises are just over 2000 square feet with 2 lawyers offices and 4 secretarial stations, so there is great expansion opportunity.  The location is just of the 407 and is easily accessible for 401, 27 and 410 highways.
