A buyer must be a legally qualified Canadian lawyer in order to be legally eligible to purchase a practice. You must be a member of the the Law Society of the Province of sale or eligible for membership in said Law Society prior to purchase.
If you are unable to provide proof of your Law Society membership you will not be provided any information on any practice listed below.

This busy practice has been in operation for over 50 years. The present practice mix is RE (including Municipal/Expropriation), Corp/Comm, Wills/Estates, Family Law and Litigation. The sellers have excellent reputations individually and as a firm, and are prepared to assist the buyer with a transition plan that ensures client retention.
TRI-CITIES SOLICITOR'S PRACTICE
This long-established practice would suit a firm wishing to expand to the Tri-Cities area, or a local resident wishing to avoid the commute downtown. Real Estate forms 60% of this practice with the remainder evenly split between Wills/Estates and Corporate/Commercial. The practice is presently turning away work so there is lots of room for expansion.

Over 20 years in operation with a mix of Real Estate, Wills/Estates, Family Law and Civil litigation. Solid and consistent billings. Seller is flexible about transition and will mentor a junior with at least five years' experience.

The seller is willing to contemplate the sale of the building. Please note that Ms. Geiger does not handle real estate sales and the seller will have a licensed realtor for any such transaction.

This practice would suit lawyer(s) with approximately 5 years of experience an upwards although the sellers are prepared to consider mentoring a more junior lawyer(s).
